Step 1: Create & Set Up Your Facebook Page

Pages are for businesses, brands, organizations, and public figures to share their stories and connect with people. Like profiles, Pages can be customized with stories, events, and more.

People who like or follow a Page can get updates in News Feed.

To create a Page AND MAKE THE PAGE ITSELF AN ADMIN OF YOUR GROUP

  1. Click to choose a Category.
  2. Fill out the required information.
  3. Click Create Page.
  4. Add an optional profile or cover photo, then click Save.

Now Link Your Page To Your Group By Making Your Page An Admin Of Your Group 

When you link a Facebook Page to a group, that Page will become an admin of the group.

GO TO YOUR GROUP (NOT YOUR PAGE) 

  • From your News Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
  • Click Settings in the left menu.

  • Scroll down to Linked Pages and click  to the right.
  • You will see a list of all the pages you manage, every page you have created and every page that you are an admin of,
    Click the Link button next to the pages you’d like to link to your group.
    The “Scroll” function doesn’t work – user your up/down arrows to move the list up and down if you have a lot of pages. They are not listed in any discernable order. 
  • Click Link To Confirm:

To unlink your Page, click Unlink next to the page you’d like to unlink from your group, then click Unlink to confirm.

Note: Only Page admins can link or unlink their Page to or from a group.

Set Up Automatic Invites To Linked Groups

  • Go to the GROUPS tab
  • Find the linked group
  • Click the 3 dots shown here
  • This will open the Automatic Invites dialogue box – it will be inactive by default.
  • Click the word “inactive”
